Standard-FiBC

Bigger. Better. Usbags

Simply practical: standard FiBC

Our standard FiBC* are particularly suitable for coarse, free-flowing materials (e.g. grain, basalt splits, filtrates, granulates and ash) and are available with freely selectable heights in basic dimensions between 70 cm and 125 cm. The FiBC* can be equipped with 1-point, 2-point, 4-point or 2-channel suspension.

Basic dimensions and heights of USBAGs

Standard made to measure

Of course, you can also get any other dimension from FASSE industrial textiles. For reasons of stability, however, the big bag should be no more than twice as high as the smallest side dimension. The bulk density of the product must also be considered. The weight class of the big bag is calculated by multiplying the bulk density p (kg/m3) by the desired volume V (m3).

Standard diameters for inlets for filling with a filling tube are:

Since different bulk materials require different filling methods, you can choose between USBAGs:

open at the top with apron made of light fabric with filler neck with inlet with outlet with inliner

Individually assembled

The base of each of our big bags is also available in different designs. If metered emptying is not required, your USBAG will be delivered with a closed bottom.

If the contents are to be emptied in doses, the FIBC is fitted with an outlet whose diameter usually corresponds to that of the inlet. The basic rule is: small diameter for free-flowing contents, large diameter for goods that tend to agglomerate and bridge.

Also available from FASSE industrial textiles: inliners made of PE-HD, PE-LD or aluminum composite foils.

We recommend PE-HD over PE-LD products at higher filling temperatures and for lower water vapor permeability. Aluminum composite foils are chosen for the highest demands on gas tightness and water vapor impermeability.

* FiBC: The internationally correct designation for big bags. Abbreviation for Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container.
